Jennifer F. Schumacher

Graduate Student

Currently my thesis research involves high resolution fMRI and the role of local neural inhibition in early visual areas. I also have an interest in natural textures (especially fractals) and using video games for psychophysical experiments and perceptual learning.

During my undergraduate career at Arizona State University I worked with Stephen Helms Tillery and Jiping He developing chronic neural electrodes and contributing to neuroprosthetic research.
