GaborDetection in Normal Window

This demo opens a Normal Window and displays a Gabor patch on either side of the window, waits for observer response, and gives an auditory feedback. It employs a 3 down 1 up adaptive procedure.

• GaborDetectionWindow.java is pure Java version
  GaborDetection.java is also needed for this demo.
• GaborDetectionWindow.m is Matlab version.
  gabor.m and beepSound.m are also needed for Matlab version
• XX is Mathematica version. (coming soon!)

Compiling and running the Demo

Make sure that you have installed psychWithJava package and configured your environment.
• Pure Java version
Download the necessary files in your local drive. Open a terminal/command window and change to the directory where you saved the files. To compile type

javac GaborDetectionWindow.java

and press enter. If there were no errors, type

java GaborDetectionWindow

and press enter to run the program. For more information on command line development and development with Eclipse see the instructions on Building projects using psychWithJava to compile and run Java programs.
• Matlab version
Download the above listed necessary files in your current working directory and type (on Matlab command window)

Jar package

Precompiled program is in GaborDetectionWindow.jar, which is a self running jar file. You can either run it directly from your browser or download the file on your local disk and run it with a double click.
