Research Assistant
(September 2008 to July 2011)
As a research assistant I performed various duties around the lab, assisting on projects in any way possible. With all the ongoing projects, this means that I was often doing something new and different every few weeks. I spent most of my time on part of the SVLO (Snodgrass and Vanderwart Like Objects) project, from designing and refining stimuli to running various analyses. I was often the go-to for tech support on our multiple iMacs, functioning as the lab 'Mac-whisperer.'
I am now pursuing an MD/PhD sponsored through the National Institutes of Health. The MD will be completed at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. The PhD will be done as a collaboration between two labs on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD and Cambridge University in Cambridge, UK.
